Privacy Policy

Global Jump LLC | Effective August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Global Jump LLC ("Global Jump," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you visit or use our website, create an account, complete an immigration eligibility evaluation, upload documents, purchase services or subscriptions, communicate with us, or connect with independent immigration attorneys or other professionals through our marketplace (collectively, the "Services").

Global Jump is a South Carolina limited liability company located at 605 Browns Creek Rd, Union, South Carolina 29379, United States. For purposes of applicable data protection law, Global Jump is the controller of personal information for which it determines the purposes and means of processing.

Please read this Policy carefully. By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described here. Where consent is required by law, we will request it separately and your use of the Services alone will not constitute consent.

Important information about our role

Global Jump is a technology marketplace and information platform. We are not a law firm, do not employ the independent professionals available through the marketplace, and do not provide legal advice. Our evaluation may identify visa categories for which you may potentially qualify based on the information you provide. It is informational and preliminary only; it is not a legal opinion, guarantee, or government determination.

Legal advice is provided only by an appropriately qualified professional you choose to engage. A professional may have a separate privacy notice and may act as an independent controller of information received in connection with the professional relationship. Global Jump does not automatically provide your uploaded documents to a professional. We disclose them to a selected professional only after you authorize that disclosure.

Eligibility and age

The Services are intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided information to us, contact support@globaljump.com so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Personal information we collect

Information you provide

  • Contact and account information, including your name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, username, password, and communication preferences.
  • Identity and immigration information, including date and place of birth, citizenship or nationality, passport or government identification details, visa status, immigration history, travel history, and related identifiers.
  • Evaluation information, including responses concerning your education, employment, professional credentials, finances, family circumstances, intended destination, and immigration goals.
  • Documents and files, including passports, identification documents, immigration forms, employment records, educational records, financial evidence, correspondence, and other materials you choose to upload.
  • Marketplace information, including professional preferences, appointment or connection requests, authorizations to share information, and communications with professionals.
  • Payment and transaction information, including billing address, purchase history, subscription status, and limited payment-related details. Stripe processes payment-card information on our behalf; Global Jump generally does not receive full payment-card numbers.
  • Communications, including customer-support requests, feedback, survey responses, live-chat messages, and communications submitted through the Services.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and technical information, including IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, language settings, and approximate location derived from IP address.
  • Usage information, including pages viewed, links selected, referring pages, session duration, error logs, feature interactions, and dates and times of access.
  • Cookie and advertising information, including identifiers generated by cookies, pixels, software development kits, and similar technologies, subject to applicable consent requirements.

Sensitive information

Immigration questionnaires and uploaded documents may contain sensitive information, including government identifiers, financial information, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, health information, biometric identifiers, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade-union membership, or information about criminal allegations or convictions. We ask you to provide only information reasonably necessary for the evaluation, marketplace connection, or professional service you request.

Where EU or UK law classifies information as special-category or criminal-offence data, we will process it only when an applicable legal condition is satisfied, which may include your explicit consent or processing necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims. You may withdraw consent prospectively at any time, but withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully completed.

Sources of personal information

We collect information directly from you; automatically from your browser or device; from Stripe, Google Analytics, and other service providers; from professionals when necessary to administer a connection you requested; and from another person acting with authority to provide information on your behalf. If you provide information about a family member or another person, you represent that you are authorized to do so and that you have provided any required notice or obtained any required consent.

How we use personal information

We may use personal information to:

  • Create, authenticate, maintain, and secure accounts.
  • Provide preliminary immigration eligibility evaluations and explain potential visa pathways.
  • Enable users to locate, select, and connect with independent professionals.
  • Share authorized information and documents with the professional selected by the user.
  • Process purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and related accounting records.
  • Provide support, live chat, service notices, and responses to requests.
  • Operate, analyze, debug, personalize, and improve the Services.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, security incidents, and violations of our terms.
  • Comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful process, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
  • Send marketing communications where permitted, subject to your right to unsubscribe or withdraw consent.
  • Measure advertising and, where permitted by your consent and regional law, deliver or evaluate interest-based advertising.

Automated evaluation and AI-assisted features

Our eligibility evaluation may use automated rules or software to compare the information you provide against general visa criteria and identify categories for which you may potentially qualify. The result does not approve or deny immigration status, does not create an attorney-client relationship, and is not intended to produce a legal or similarly significant decision about you. A government authority and, where engaged, an independent professional make the relevant legal determinations and assessments.

The Services may also include an AI-assisted chat or support feature. Chat content may be processed by a contracted technology provider solely to operate, secure, and support that feature. Global Jump does not authorize the provider to use conversations to train general-purpose AI models. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate and are not legal advice. Do not enter passport numbers, government identification numbers, payment-card information, or confidential immigration documents into an AI chat unless Global Jump expressly directs you to a secure feature designed for that purpose.

You may contact support@globaljump.com to request human assistance or additional information about an automated evaluation.

How we disclose personal information

We may disclose personal information to the following recipients for the purposes described in this Policy:

  • Professionals you select. We disclose documents and evaluation information only after your authorization. Those professionals may process the information under their own professional, ethical, legal, and privacy obligations.
  • Service providers, including Stripe for payment processing; Google Analytics for website measurement where enabled; and providers of hosting, security, storage, communications, customer support, live chat, AI functionality, and technical infrastructure.
  • Analytics and advertising partners, where enabled and permitted by law. These partners may receive online identifiers, device information, and usage activity through cookies or similar technologies. EU and UK users will be asked for consent before non-essential technologies are activated.
  • Professional advisers, including accountants, auditors, insurers, and legal advisers, when reasonably necessary and subject to confidentiality obligations.
  • Government authorities, courts, regulators, and other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the Services.
  • A buyer, successor, lender, or transaction adviser in connection with a proposed or completed merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or transfer of business assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

No sale of leads or referral fees

Global Jump does not sell customer leads to marketplace professionals and does not receive referral fees from professionals based on a user's selection or engagement. We also do not sell immigration documents or questionnaire responses for money.

Some U.S. state privacy laws may define certain disclosures through advertising cookies as a "sale," "sharing," or use for targeted advertising even when no money changes hands. If Global Jump enables such technology, eligible users may opt out through the website's cookie or privacy-preference controls. We will honor legally recognized opt-out preference signals where required.

Cookies, Google Analytics, and advertising technologies

We use essential cookies to operate account, security, and payment functions. With consent where required, we may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Services and may use advertising pixels or similar technologies to measure campaigns or provide relevant advertising. Our cookie banner or preference center provides current details about non-essential technologies and allows you to accept, reject, or change your choices.

Disabling cookies may affect some functionality. You may also adjust browser settings, but browser controls may not remove all forms of tracking. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.

Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain security, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory requirements.

Uploaded immigration and identity documents are scheduled for deletion from active systems six months after upload unless you delete them sooner, request continued storage, authorize their use in an ongoing professional connection, or a longer period is required to comply with law, preserve security, prevent fraud, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Residual copies may remain temporarily in encrypted backups until those backups are overwritten under our normal backup cycle.

Account, transaction, consent, security, and professional-connection records may be retained for different periods based on the nature of the record and applicable obligations. When information is no longer required, we delete it, anonymize it, or isolate it until deletion is practicable.

International data transfers

Global Jump is based in the United States. If you access the Services from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction, your personal information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live.

Where required, we use recognized transfer safeguards, which may include European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or International Data Transfer Agreement, adequacy decisions, and supplementary technical or organizational measures. You may contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your information.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, taking into account the nature of the information and the risks involved. Measures may include encryption in transit, access controls, authentication, logging, vendor review, personnel confidentiality requirements, and secure deletion procedures. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.

Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to:

To exercise a right, email support@globaljump.com and describe your request. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and authority before responding. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, but we may request proof of authorization and identity verification. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

  • Access or obtain a copy of personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
  • Delete personal information.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Receive information in a portable, machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time for future processing based on consent.
  • Opt out of marketing communications, targeted advertising, or legally defined sale or sharing.
  • Receive information about automated processing and request human assistance where applicable.
  • Appeal our decision on a privacy request where applicable law provides that right.

Additional information for U.S. residents

U.S. state privacy laws may provide additional rights based on your state of residence and whether Global Jump meets the law's applicability thresholds. In the preceding 12 months, the categories of personal information we may have collected and disclosed for business purposes include identifiers; customer-record information; protected classification information contained in user submissions; commercial information; internet or electronic-network activity; approximate geolocation; professional and employment information; education information; inferences from evaluation responses; communications; and sensitive personal information such as government identifiers and immigration-related documents.

We use and disclose these categories for the purposes described in Sections 5 and 8. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about users for unrelated purposes. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 18. Where advertising disclosures qualify as sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable law, eligible residents may opt out through our privacy-preference controls or by contacting us.

Additional information for individuals in the EEA and UK

Individuals in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom may exercise the rights described in Section 14. The availability of a right may depend on the legal basis and circumstances of processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority where you live or work or where you believe an infringement occurred. In the United Kingdom, the supervisory authority is the Information Commissioner's Office.

Global Jump will identify any required EU or UK representative in this Policy before offering Services in a manner that requires such appointment. Contact support@globaljump.com for current representative information or questions about our EU or UK processing.

Third-party services and professional websites

The Services may contain links to professional profiles, third-party websites, payment pages, or external services. This Policy does not govern information a third party collects independently. Review the third party's privacy notice before providing information. Global Jump is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent professionals or third-party services.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the Services, technology, law, or our practices. We will post the revised version with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required. If a change materially alters how we use information previously collected, we will obtain consent where required and will not rely on a revised policy to make retroactive uses that are unlawful or inconsistent with prior commitments.
